‘’’’Don Hartman NE Sportsplex’’’’ is a sports facility located in the Coral Springs neighborhood of Northeast Calgary. It houses two 150-seat, NHL-sized arenas, as well as a large gymnasium. It was built in 1995, and has the original system.

System Specifications

FACP

The building is protected by a Notifier System 2500 conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located at the main entrance. The system does continuous in alarm.

Notification Appliances

Most notification appliances are Wheelock MBS-G10-24 motor bell/strobes (10” gong). One bell failed, and was replaced with a Simplex 2901-9724 motor bell. The strobe plate remained.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

All pull stations are Notifier NFM-950B conventional single-action “tab” pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices

None noticed.
