‘’’Best Western’’’ is a large chain of midrange hotels headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. This particular hotel is located in the Vista Heights neighborhood of Calgary, Alberta. The hotel opened in 1982, and was renovated in 2015. The fire alarm system is not original.

Notification Appliances

Most notification appliances are Simplex 2901-9720 motor bells (6” gong). The bell in the breakfast room failed, and was replaced with a Simplex 2901-9723 motor bell (6” gong).
