It was installed in 1954 when the school’s fire alarm system was automated, and is still in use after 65+ years! The panel is located in the boiler room. The is also a Reiter Co. manual pull rod attached to the Reiter Co. 12 inch manual trip bells and a switch that activates the alarms when the rod is pulled. The pull rod runs from the 3rd floor to the basement of the building
