System Specifications
FACP
The station is protected by a Simplex 4007ES addressable fire alarm system. The panel location is unknown, but the model is speculated based on the size of the building, age of the system, and the initiating devices on the system. The system runs Simplex’s IDNet addressable protocol, and does code 3 in alarm, along with the SmartSync protocol to synchronize all horns and strobes.
Notification Appliances
All notification appliances are from Simplex’s “TrueAlert” line of products. Most of the station has Simplex 4906-9127 horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, 15cd). The second floor of the building has a Simplex 4901-9820 remote horn (red, wall-mount) on the west side, and a Simplex 4906-9101 remote strobe (red, wall-mount, 15cd) on the east side.
Initiating Devices
Pull Stations
All pull stations are Simplex 4099-9004 addressable single-action pull stations, mounted on Simplex 2975-9178 backboxes.
Automatic Detection Devices
There are Simplex “TrueAlarm” detectors throughout the building. Some are Simplex 4098-9714 addressable photoelectric smoke detectors, and some are Simplex 4098-9734 addressable fixed/rate-of-rise heat detectors. All are mounted on Simplex 4098-9792 addressable bases.
