‘’’St. John’s College’’’ is a catholic high school located in Brantford, Ontario. The school opened in 1941, but the fire alarm system is not original.

System Specifications

FACP

The school is protected by an Edwards 6500 conventional fire alarm system. The panel location is unknown. The system does continuous in alarm.

Notification Appliances

The notification appliances are a mix of Edwards 439D-6AWC vibrating bells (6” gong) and Notifier KMS-6-24VDC/P motor bells (6” gong). The portables have Edwards MB10-24 motor bells (10” gong).

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

Most pull stations are Edwards 270-SPO conventional single-action pull stations. Most are third-generation, and have been painted over. However, one is newer. There is also a Mircom MS-401 conventional single-action pull station in the school.
