Jack Setters Arena is an indoor hockey arena owned by the Millican - Ogden Community Association. The arena was built in 1972.

System Specifications

FACP

The facility is protected by a Mircom FA-300 Series Conventional fire alarm control panel. The panel is located in the main entrance. When in alarm the system most likely does steady code/continuous.

Notification Appliances

Most notification appliances consist of three Edwards 439D-10AWC (10 Inch) vibrating bells, located in the lobby, rink area, and the Zamboni room. In January 2021, an additional bell was installed, as confirmed by a permit was issued for "Fire Alarm System Modification - Add Fire Alarm Bell in Ammonia Room." meaning that the fire alarm was either inaudible or too quiet. It is currently unknown what that bell is.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

There are three pull stations in this arena. Two of them are Edwards 270-SPOs. One is original and has the square shield, and the other is GE branded and was installed in the early 2010s. There is also a painted-over Notifier MPS-950B with a new sticker, which is a code violation as fire alarm devices cannot be painted. It is located under the scoreboard. ThePurpleMage told the building manager about this issue, so the device will likely be replaced in the near future.

Automatic Detection Devices

None noticed.
