McDonald's is a fast food chain. This particular location is in Crowfoot, NW Calgary. It was built in 1984, but doesn't have the original fire alarm system.

System Specifications

FACP

The fire alarm panel is most likely a Simplex 4006, judging by the devices. The panel is not visible, it is likely in the back.

Notification Appliances

The notification appliances are Simplex "TrueAlert" 4906-9127 (red, wall mount, SmartSync) horn/strobes, which were installed when the 4006 was.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

The pull stations consist of an Edwards 270-SPO installed in the 1990s at the back exit, and a Tyco/Grinnell MS-401 at the main entrance.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are Simplex 4098-9601 photoelectric smoke detectors everywhere, including the entrance and the washrooms.
