Heritage Station is an LRT station located at 12 Haddon Road Southwest, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It serves the communities of Acadia, Haysboro, Kingsland, and many others. It opened in 1981, and was one of the original stations. The fire alarm system is not original.

System Specifications

FACP

The building is protected by an EST QuickStart QS1 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in a locked silver cabinet on the mezzanine level. The system runs EST's Signature-series addressable protocol, and the system coding is likely temporal. This panel replaced an Edwards 1527 in 2011.

Notification Appliances

There is only one notification appliance in the station. It is an Edwards 439D-6AWC vibrating bell (red, 6” gong).

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

The only pull station is an EST SIGA-270 addressable single-action pull station, which is located next to the FACP on the mezzanine level. There may be a pull station in a locked room on the ground floor, however this is unconfirmed.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are several EST SIGA-PS addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the station, including in the escalator pits. All detectors are mounted on EST SIGA-SB bases.
