Calgary Municipal Building (also known as New City Hall) is a large government building in Downtown Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It houses the offices for most city employees, the municipal council chamber, and several services, such as payment offices. The building opened in 1985, and had its fire alarm system upgraded in the 2000s. The system is serviced by Allied Projects.

The building is protected by an Edwards EST3 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in a security office. The system runs EST's Signature-series addressable protocol, and is equipped with voice evacuation. The system is configured for two-stage operation, however the messages and/or tones are unknown at this time.

Notification Appliances

Most notification appliances are Edwards 965-5A-8RW speaker/strobes (white, ceiling-mount, 8” driver, 15cd). Some lower-traffic areas have Edwards 965-5A-4RW speaker/strobes (white, ceiling-mount, 4” driver, 15cd).
