Monsignor E.L. Doyle School is an elementary school in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The school is owned and operated by the Calgary Catholic Separate School District (CSSD). The school opened in 1993, and received a fire alarm upgrade in 2014.

The building is protected by a Vigilant VS2 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the custodian’s office. The system runs Vigilant’s GSA addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

There is an annunciator at the main entrance, model unknown.
Notification Appliances
All indoor notification appliances are EST “Genesis” G1R-HDVM horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, no FIRE). For outdoor notification, there is an EST WG4RN-HVMC weatherproof horn (red, no FIRE).

Pull Stations
All pull stations are Edwards 270-SPO conventional single-action pull stations.
Automatic Detection Devices
There are EST SIGA2-PS addressable photoelectric smoke detectors located throughout. There are Edwards EC20FTU-3 fixed temperature heat detectors installed in all storage areas, replacing the original Edwards 281C rate of rise/fixed-temperature heat detectors in 2020 after a recall.

FACP
The building was protected by an Edwards ESA2000 conventional fire alarm system. The panel was located in the custodian’s office. The system coding was continuous.

There was an annunciator at the main entrance, model unknown.
Notification Appliances
All notification appliances were Wheelock MBS-G6-24 motor bell/strobes (6” gong, 1.5cd). The gymnasium had higher ambient noise levels, so there were Wheelock MBS-G10-24 motor bell/strobes (10” gong, 1.5cd). For outdoor notification, there were Edwards 439D-10AWC vibrating bells. (10” gong)
