6257-6284 Currents Drive NW is the address of a small shopping plaza in the Currents of Windermere shopping district of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The plaza consists of Dollarama, Staples, Wine and Beyond, Petland, Mark’s, Winners & Homesense. The plaza was originally built in 2012, with Staples, Dollarama and Wine and Beyond being the original tenants. The plaza was expanded in 2014 to add Mark’s and Petland, and once again to add Winners & Homesense. The fire alarm system is original.

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by a Mircom FX-2000 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the mechanical room. The system runs Mircom’s CLIP addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Annunciators[edit | edit source]

There is a Mircom RAX-LCD annunciator paired with a Mircom RAX-1048TZDS annunciator in the Homesense entrance vestibule.
Both annunciators are mounted inside a Mircom BB-1002 enclosure.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

All indoor notification appliances are Mircom “Select-A-Horn/Strobe” FHS-340R horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to electromechanical/15cd).
For outdoor notification, there is a Mircom FHS-340R weatherproof horn/strobe (red, wall-mount) outside the mechanical room.
