The North Kansas City Hospital is a 451-bed hospital located at 2800 Clay Edwards Drive, in North Kansas City, Missouri, USA. The hospital was originally built in 1955, and was expanded in 1960, 1972, the 1990s, and 2005. The fire alarm system was upgraded in the 2010s. The building is protected by a Siemens FireFinder XLS addressable fire alarm system. This is a networked system, likely consisting of over 40 nodes. The system runs Siemens’ FirePrint addressable protocol, and is equipped with voice evacuation. The messages and/or tones are unknown at this time.

Most notification appliances are Wheelock E70-24MCW-FR speaker/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 70V/15cd).

There are Siemens FDO421 addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the building, mounted on Siemens DB-11 bases.

There are Siemens XTRI-D addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system’s tamper and flow switches.
There are Siemens XTRI-R addressable relay modules serving various purposes.
