Canadian Tire is a chain of retail stores across Canada. This particular store is located at 250 Shawville Way Southeast, in the Shawnessy shopping area of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It was built in 1996, the store opened in 1997, and the fire alarm system is original except for the FACP.

System Specifications

FACP

The building is protected by an Edwards EST3Xaddressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the automotive entrance vestibule. The system runs Edwards' Signature addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

This panel replaced an Edwards iO1000 in 2024, which replaced the original Edwards EST2 in 2021 due to an internal ground fault. No permits were issued for this replacement.

Notification Appliances

All notification appliances are Edwards 439D-10AWC vibrating bells (10" gong) mounted on EST 403-5A-R strobe plates (15cd)
