500-900 8888 Country Hills Blvd NW is a shopping plaza located in Royal Oak Center, in Royal Oak, NW, right off of Country Hills Blvd. It was built in 2004, when the other plazas were built, with the middle portion being built in 2005. This plaza has a London Drugs, Party Town, Dollarama and a Sleep Country. One space, formerly occupied by the now-bankrupt Home Outfitters, currently sits vacant. The plaza recently had a fire alarm panel upgrade in March 2020, while London Drugs retains its original system.

This store is protected by an EST QuickStart QS1 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system runs EST's Signature addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

All notification appliances are Edwards MB6-24 motor bells (6" gong) mounted on EST "Integrity" 403-5A-R strobe plates (15cd).

The plaza is protected by an Edwards iO64 addressable fire alarm system. The panel location is unknown. The iO64 replaced the original EST QuickStart QS1 in 2020. The system runs EST's Signature addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Annunciators[edit | edit source]

There is an Edwards RLCD remote annunciator outside Dollarama, replacing the original QSA-1-S cabinet, which contained an EST QS1-CPU-1 LCD annunciator with an SL30 card.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

All indoor notification appliances are EST "Genesis" G1R-HDVM horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, no lettering, set to 15cd). These were installed in 2011.

For outdoor notification, there is an EST "Integrity" CS405-7A-T weatherproof remote strobe (red, 15/75cd) outside the Dollarama.
