Barcelona Condominiums is a 3 story condo building in Sunalta, Calgary. It was built in 1982, and the fire alarm system is mostly original.

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by a Mircom Series 1000 conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located in the front door. The system coding is temporal.

The Series 1000 replaced a Mirtone 7800.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

All notification appliances are Mirtone 74303 6-inch vibrating bells.

Initiating Devices[edit | edit source]

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]

All but two pull stations are Mirtone 73201 (dual-action) pull stations.

The other two pull stations are Simplex MS-301C single action pull stations, installed as deficiency replacements.

Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]

There are Mircom C2W-BA photoelectric 2-wire smoke detectors installed in corridors.

One Mircom TD-135 (self restoring) mechanical heat detector in the laundry room and various Mirtone self restoring heat detectors in the storage areas, model to be confirmed.
