The Calgary Fire Department is the fire department service the City of Calgary. This page will cover the apparatus spare storage facility, located at 1755 18 Avenue NE, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The building was built in 2009, and the fire alarm system was partially upgraded in 2021.

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by a Vigilant VS1 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located at the main entrance. The system runs Vigilant’s GSA addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

All notification appliances are Simplex 2901-9724 motor bells (10” gong) mounted on Wheelock RSSP-24MCW strobe plates (15cd).

All pull stations are Vigilant GSA-M270 addressable single-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]

Modules[edit | edit source]

There are Vigilant GSA-CT1 addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system’s tamper and flow switches.
There is a Vigilant GSA-CR addressable relay module for HVAC shutdown.

There are Simplex 2081-9040C end of line resistor plates on all sprinkler and signal circuits.
