Centre Eleven is an office building located at 1121 Centre Street Northwest, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The building opened in 1979, and the fire alarm system is partially original, with a panel replacement occurring in 2023.

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by a Mircom FX-2000 conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system coding is temporal.

The panel replaced a Mircom FA-1000 in 2023.

Annunciators[edit | edit source]

There is a Mircom RAX-LCD annunciator in a Mircom BB-1001 enclosure at the dance studio entrance.

Booster Panels[edit | edit source]

There is an Edwards BPS10A booster power supply in a closet on the first floor.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

The notification appliances are primarily a mix of Mircom BL-6A/BL-6B motor bells (6” gong) and Mircom BL-10A/BL-10B motor bells (10” gong).

The main floor back exit has an Edwards 439D-6AWC vibrating bell (6” gong) installed in 2021 as a deficiency replacement.

There is an Edwards 439D-6AWC vibrating bell (6” gong) mounted on an Edwards 403-5A-R strobe plate (15cd) in a first floor unit.

The parkade has Wheelock MB-G6-24 motor bells (6" gong).

The first floor of the dance studio has Mircom FHS-400-RR horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd).

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]

All pull stations but one are Edwards 270-SPO conventional single-action pull stations.

There is an Edwards 274-111 conventional single-action pull station in a first floor unit.

Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]

There are System Sensor "i3" C2W-BA conventional 2-wire photoelectric smoke detectors in some areas.

Most areas have Fire Detection Devices CR-135 conventional 135­°F fixed/rate-of-rise heat detectors.

EOLs[edit | edit source]

There are Edwards EOL-P1 end of line resistor plates on all circuits.
