Chateau Vaudreuil is a 5-star luxury hotel located at 21700 Trans-Canada Hwy, Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec, Canada. The hotel was built in 1989, and was renovated in 2010. The fire alarm system was upgraded following the renovation.

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by an Edwards EST2 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main lobby. The system runs EST’s Signature addressable protocol, and is equipped with voice-evacuation. The tones and/or messages are unknown at this time.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

Most notification appliances are Edwards “Integrity” 965-1A-8SW speakers (ceiling-mount, square, 8”, 70V).
Some common areas and all guest rooms have EST “Genesis” G4-S7 speakers (white, wall-mount, no marking).

Initiating Devices[edit | edit source]

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]

All pull stations are EST SIGA-270 addressable single-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]

There are EST SIGA-PS addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the hotel.
Some areas have Edwards SIGA-PD addressable photoelectric smoke detectors as deficiency replacements.
All detectors are mounted on EST SIGA-SB bases.

There are EST SIGA-CT1 addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system’s tamper and flow switches.

EOLs[edit | edit source]

There are Edwards EOL-P1 end-of-line resistor plates on all sprinkler and signal circuits.
