Crash Hotel is a hotel located at 10266 103 Street Northwest, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The hotel opened in 1904, and has been renovated several times since. The fire alarm system was installed in the 1970s, and replacement parts have been installed when deficiencies occur.

FACP[edit | edit source]
The hotel is protected by a Mircom Series 200 conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located next to the front desk, mounted approximately 7 feet high. The system coding is unknown at this time.
Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]
Unless otherwise noted, all notification appliances are Edwards “Durabel” 6100D vibrating bells (6” gong).
The stairwell has an Edwards 439D-6AWC vibrating bell (6” gong).
Arena Liquor has an Edwards 439D-10AWC vibrating bell (10" gong).
The restaurant has a Mircom BL-6B motor bell (6” gong).
The 439D bells and BL-6B were installed as deficiency replacements. The guest rooms have no signaling devices.

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]
Most pull stations are Edwards 270-SPO conventional single-action pull stations. There is an Edwards 274-111 conventional pull station in Arena Liquor. The third floor has an Edwards 270-SPOB bilingual conventional single-action pull station as a deficiency replacement. The second floor has a Mircom MS-401 conventional single-action pull stations as a deficiency replacement.
Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]
There are System Sensor 1451A conventional ionization smoke detectors throughout the hotel, mounted on B401 bases. There is a Mircom C2W-BA conventional photoelectric smoke detector on the second floor as a deficiency replacement.
