The Commonwealth Stadium is an open-air, all-seater multipurpose stadium in the McCauley neighborhood of Edmonton. It is home to the Edmonton Football Team, formerly Edmonton Eskimos. The stadium was built in 1978, but went under facelifts over the years, most notably in 2012 when the current fire alarm system was installed.
System Specifications
FACP
The fire alarm panel is a two-stage EST3 fire alarm system. It was installed in 2012, when the renovations were complete. There is an annunciator at an entrance, however the panel itself isn't visible. The EST3 most likely replaced an EST ESA2000 from 2001.
Notification Appliances
The notification appliances are mainly Edwards MB10-24 motor bells on EST "Integrity" 403-5A-R strobe plates. These were installed over the course of 2009-12. In the washrooms, and some areas of the stadium, there are General Signal MB10-24 motor bells on EST "Integrity" 403-5A-R strobe plates, left over from the 2001 renovation.
