Manchester M is an office building owned and operated by the City of Calgary. The building opened in 1957, and the fire alarm system was upgraded in the 2010s.

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by a Simplex 4007ES addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located at the main entrance. The system runs Simplex’s IDNet addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

All notification appliances are Simplex “TrueAlert” 4906-9127 horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd).

There are Simplex “TrueAlarm” 4098-9714 addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the building, mounted on Simplex 4098-9792 bases. There are Simplex 4098-9756 addressable photoelectric duct smoke detectors on all RTUs.
