The Southern Alberta Institute of Technology is a trade school located in Calgary, Alberta. This page will cover the Thomas Riley Automotive Centre, which hosts all automotive-based courses. It was built in the late 1970s, and the fire alarm system was upgraded in 1998.

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by an Edwards EST3 addressable fire alarm system. The panel location is unknown, but this building is part of the campus’s EST3 network, and is remotely monitored. The system runs EST’s Signature addressable protocol, and is equipped with voice evacuation. The system is two-stage, however the messages and/or tones are unknown at this time.

All notification appliances are Edwards 965-7A-8RW 8” round speaker/strobes (white, ceiling-mount, 70V, 15/75cd).
