Safeway Canada is a grocery store chain owned by Sobeys. This particular store is located at 3737 37 Street Southwest, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The store opened in 1962, was rebuilt in 2006. The fire alarm system is original.

Please note that this fire alarm system only covers the Safeway store. The rest of the plaza does not have a fire alarm system.

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by an EST QuickStart QS1 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system runs EST’s Signature addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

All notification appliances are Edwards MB10-24 motor bells (10” gong) mounted on Edwards 403-5A-R strobe plates (15cd).
