Spruce Ridge Gardens is an apartment building located at 19A Hemlock Crescent SW, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The building is owned and managed by Boardwalk. The building was built in 2013, and the fire alarm system is original.

The building is protected by a Mircom FX-2000 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system runs Mircom’s CLIP addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.
Booster Panels[edit | edit source]
There is a Mircom INX-10 addressable booster power supply in the main floor electrical room.
Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]
All common areas have Mircom “Select-A-Horn/Strobe” FHS-340R horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to electromechanical/15cd).
All suite bedrooms have Mircom MH-S25WA silenceable mini-horns (white, wall-mount).
Some suites have System Sensor MHWZA silenceable mini-horns (white, wall-mount) as deficiency replacements.

All pull stations are Mircom MS-401AD addressable single-action pull stations.
Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]
There are Mircom MIX-2251BA addressable photoelectric smoke detectors in all common areas.
These are mounted on System Sensor B210LPA bases in most areas, and on System Sensor B200SRA sounder bases in the parkade elevator lobby and the centre and west stairwells.
There are System Sensor DNRA addressable duct detectors with Mircom MIX-2251BA addressable photoelectric heads on all make-up air units.

There are Mircom MIX-M500DMA addressable dual-input monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system’s tamper and flow switches.
There are Mircom MIX-M500RA addressable relay modules for elevator homing and MUA shutdown.
There are System Sensor M500XA isolator modules on the SLC.
There are Mircom CSIS-202A suite signaling isolators between each unit.
