Mountain Equipment Co-op is a chain of outdoor equipment stores. This particular store is located at 830 10 Ave SW, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The store was built in 1996, and the fire alarm system is original.

The building is protected by an EST 6632 conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system coding is continuous.

All audible notification appliances are Edwards 439D-10AWC vibrating bells (10” gong). These bells are not easily visible. There are Edwards 202-3A-001 remote strobes (red, wall-mount, 30cd) throughout the store.
