St. Mary's Parish is a church in Cochrane, AB. It is located at 10 River Heights Drive near the neighborhoods of River Heights and Fireside. It was built in 2007, and appears to have the original fire alarm system.

System Specifications[edit | edit source]

FACP[edit | edit source]

The church is protected by an EST QuickStart QS1 addressable fire alarm system. The panel itself is not visible, but is assumed to be a QuickStart QS1 due to the age and size of the church. The system runs EST's Signature addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

The notification appliances are all from EST's "Genesis" line of products. Most of the notification appliances are EST G1-HDVM (white, wall mount, no FIRE marking) horn/strobes, which were specifically chosen to blend in with the walls. However, in the Chapel, there is one G1-HDVM, and one EST G1R-HDVM (red, wall mount, no FIRE lettering) horn/strobe, which is on a mismatched EST G1T (white) trim plate.

Initiating Devices[edit | edit source]

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]

The pull stations are all EST SIGA-270 addressable pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]

None noticed.

EOLs[edit | edit source]

There are Edwards EOL-P1 end-of-line resistor plates on all signal circuits.
