Toyota on the Trail is a car dealership located at 5210 Calgary Trail Northwest, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The dealership opened in 2015, and the fire alarm system is original.

System Specifications[edit | edit source]

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by an EST iO500 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is likely located in the sprinkler room. The system runs EST’s Signature addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Annunciators[edit | edit source]

There is an EST RLCD-C annunciator paired with two EST RLED24 annunciators in the main entrance vestibule. All annunciators are mounted inside an EST RA-ENC3 enclosure.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

All indoor notification appliances are Edwards “Genesis” G1-HDVM horn/strobes (white, wall-mount, no marking, set to 15cd).

For outdoor notification, there is an Edwards WG4RN-HVMC weatherproof horn/strobe (red, wall-mount, no marking, set to 60cd) outside the main entrance.

Initiating Devices[edit | edit source]

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]

All pull stations are EST SIGA-270 addressable single-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]

None noticed. The building is equipped with a sprinkler system.

Modules[edit | edit source]

There are EST SIGA-CT1 addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system’s tamper and flow switches.

EOLs[edit | edit source]

There are Edwards EOL-P1 end-of-line resistor plates on all sprinkler and signal circuits.
