The Travel Alberta Canmore Visitor Information Centre is a rest stop and visitor information centre located at 2801 Bow Valley Trail, Canmore, Alberta. It was built in 2006, and the fire alarm system is original.

System Specifications (2006-present)[edit | edit source]

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by an EST FireShield FS502G conventional fire alarm system. The panel location is unknown. The system coding is temporal.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

All notification appliances are EST “Genesis” G1-HV15 horn/strobes (white, wall-mount, no marking, set to 15cd).

Initiating Devices[edit | edit source]

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]

All pull stations are Edwards 270-SPO conventional pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]

There are Edwards 283B-PL 135 degree fixed temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors throughout the building. These have likely been replaced, as they were recalled in 2020.

EOLs[edit | edit source]

There are Edwards EOL-P1 end-of-line resistor plates on all circuits.
