The University of Calgary is a public research university in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This page will cover the Science B building, located at 832 Campus Place NW. It was built in 1965, and the fire alarm system was upgraded in 2021.

The building is protected by a Simplex 4100ES conventional fire alarm system. The panel location is unknown. The system is equipped with voice-evacuation. The evacuation signal is slow whoop followed by the default message.

All notification appliances are Simplex “LifeAlarm” 2902-9732 speakers (red, surface-mount). These were installed in 1987.
