Walmart is a chain of big-box stores across the world. This particular store is located at 7979 11 St SE, in the Deerfoot Meadows shopping area, in the East Fairview Industrial neighborhood of Southeast Calgary. It was built in 2009, and the system is original.

The store is protected by a Simplex 4100U addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the left entrance of the store. The system runs Simplex's IDNet addressable protocol, and the system coding is Temporal.
Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]
The notification appliances are from Simplex's "TrueAlert" line of products with SmartSync. The main notification appliances are Simplex 4906-9127 (red, wall mount, multi-candela) horn/strobes, and have Simplex 4906-9101 (red, wall mount, multi-candela) remote strobes. Throughout the store, the notification appliances are mounted on poles, with two horn/strobes opposite each other, and two strobes, also opposite each other.

The pull stations are Simplex 4099-9001 addressable single-action T-Bar pull stations.
Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]
Waterflow detection, so no detectors are present.

There are Simplex 4090-9001 addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system's tamper and flow switches.

There are Simplex 2081-9040C end-of-line resistor plates on all sprinkler and signal circuits.
