System Specifications[edit | edit source]

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by a Notifier NFS2-640C addressable fire alarm system. It was installed in 2016, following a system upgrade. The panel is located in the main office. The system runs Notifier's FlashScan addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Annunciators[edit | edit source]

There is a Notifier KDM-R2 LCD annunciator with a keypad near the main entrance.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

All notification appliances are from System Sensor's "SpectrAlert Advance" line of products. The main notification appliances are System Sensor P2RA horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, 2-wire, set to 15cd). The volume setting varies throughout the school. The classrooms have System Sensor MHRA (red) mini-horns. The restrooms have System Sensor SRA (red, wall-mount) remote strobes. These were all installed in 2016 along with the panel.

Initiating Devices[edit | edit source]

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]

All pull stations are Notifier N-MPS-SA addressable single-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]

There are Notifier FSP-851 addressable photoelectric smoke detectors located throughout the school, mounted on B210LP bases.

EOLs[edit | edit source]

There are Notifier EOL-CR end-of-line resistor plates on all signal circuits.

The building was formerly protected by the original Pyrotronics System 3 conventional fire alarm system. The notification appliances were bells, however no other information is known about this system as it was sourced from a RECAPP facility report from 2009.
