Montana’s is a Canadian chain of western-themed restaurants. This particular restaurant is located at #400 4916 130 Ave SE, Calgary, Alberta. The restaurant opened in 2007, and the fire alarm system was partially upgraded in 2022, the notification appliances are original.

FACP

The building is protected by a Mircom FA-106 conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system coding is temporal.
The FA-106 replaced the original Simplex 4006 in 2022.

Notification Appliances

All notification appliances are Simplex 2901-9723 motor bells (6” gong) mounted on Wheelock RSSP-24MCW strobe plates (red, set to 15cd).

All pull stations are Mircom MS-401 conventional single-action pull stations.
These replaced Simplex 2099-9754 conventional single-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices

There is a System Sensor 5601A conventional 135°F/rate-of-rise heat detector in the exterior electrical room.
It replaced a Simplex “TrueAlarm” 4098-9403 conventional 135°F/rate-of-rise heat detector.

EOLs

There are Mircom MP-300 or Simplex 2081-9040C end-of-line resistor plates on all circuits.
