FACP[edit | edit source]

The building was protected by a Simplex 4008 addressable fire alarm system. The panel was located at the main entrance. The system ran Simplex’s IDNet addressable protocol, and the system coding was temporal.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

All notification appliances were Simplex “TrueAlert” 4906-9127 horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd).

Initiating Devices[edit | edit source]

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]

All pull stations were Simplex 4099-9001 addressable single-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]

There were likely Simplex “TrueAlarm” 4098-9733 addressable 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors throughout the building, mounted on Simplex 4098-9792 bases.

Modules[edit | edit source]

There was a Simplex 4090-9001 addressable monitor module supervising the kitchen suppression system.

EOLs[edit | edit source]

There were Simplex 2081-9040C end of line resistor plates on the kitchen suppression system circuit, and on all signal circuits.
