Abundant Church is a Christian megachurch in El Paso, Texas. This is the East location, located at 1000 Valley Crest Drive, El Paso, Texas. It opened in 1984, and the fire alarm system was upgraded in 2006.

System Specifications[edit | edit source]

FACP[edit | edit source]

The church is protected by a Siemens MXL addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in a storage room. The system runs Siemens’ FirePrint addressable protocol, and is equipped with voice-evacuation. The horn/strobes coding is temporal, and the auditorium’s evacuation signal is slow whoop, followed by the default male message.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

The main auditorium has remote speakers (model to be confirmed), as well as Siemens U-MCS remote strobes (red, wall-mount).
All other areas have Siemens U-MMT-MCS horn/strobes (red, wall-mount), set to horn.
There are also Siemens U-MCS remote strobes in the corridors.

Initiating Devices[edit | edit source]

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]

All pull stations are Siemens MSI-20B addressable dual-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]

There are Siemens “FirePrint” FP-11 multisensor smoke/heat detectors throughout the building.
