The Manhattan is an apartment building located at 1919 17 Ave SW, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The building was built in 1982, and the fire alarm system was partially upgraded in 2002.

FACP

The building is protected by a Mircom Series FA-1000 conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system coding is continuous.

Notification Appliances

All notification appliances but one are Edwards "Durabel" 6100D vibrating bells (6" gong).
There is one Edwards 439D-6AWC vibrating bell (6" gong) in the second floor north hallway as a deficiency replacement.

All pull stations are Mircom MS-401 conventional single-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are System Sensor C2W-BA conventional photoelectric smoke detectors throughout all corridors and at the top of each stairwell.
There are Edwards 245A conventional 135°F fixed-temperature heat detectors in all storage rooms.
There are Edwards 246A conventional 194°F fixed-temperature heat detectors in all mechanical rooms.

EOLs

There are a mix of Edwards EOL-P1 and Mircom MP-300 end of line resistor plates on all circuits.
