System Specifications

FACP

The building is protected by an Edwards iO1000 conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located in the electrical room. The system has an Edwards RZI16-2 zone card to accommodate the conventional zones, and the system coding is temporal.
This panel replaced a Mircom Series FA-1000 in 2023.

Annunciators

There is an Edwards RLED24 annunciator by the checkouts.

Notification Appliances

All notification appliances are System Sensor "SpectrAlert" P2415A horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, 15cd, set to electromechanical).

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

All pull stations are Mircom MS-401 conventional single-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are Edwards 281B-PL conventional 135°F fixed-temperature/rate of rise heat detectors located in electrical, mechanical or similar rooms.
There is an FDD CR-135 135°F fixed-temperature/rate of rise heat detector at the top of the stairwell.
Each return air unit has a System Sensor DH400ACDCA conventional ionization duct smoke detectors except one.

There is one Edwards "SuperDuct" SD-2W conventional photoelectric duct smoke detector on one RTU as a deficiency replacement.

EOLs

All end-of-line resistors are in an electrical box above the FACP, on all circuits.
