The Calgary Jewish Community Centre is a community and recreation centre located at 1607 90 Ave SW, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The building was built in 1979, and the fire alarm system is partially original.
System Specifications
FACP
The building is protected by a Siemens TXL-1000 conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main lobby corridor. The system coding is temporal.
This panel replaced an Edwards Custom 6500 in 2013.

Most notification appliances are Edwards "Durabel" 6100D vibrating bells (10" gong).

Initiating Devices
Pull Stations
Most pull stations are Edwards 270-SPO conventional single-action pull stations.
There are a mix of Notifier NFM-950B, Notifier MPS-950B and Mircom MS-401 conventional single-action pull stations as deficiency replacements.
Automatic Detection Devices
There are System Sensor C2W-BA conventional photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the daycare, in the main corridor, in youth centre room 6, and at the top of each stairwell.
There is a System Sensor 5604A conventional 135°F fixed-temperature heat detector in the daycare electrical room.
There is a System Sensor 5601A conventional 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detector in youth centre room 5.
EOLs
There are a mix of Edwards EOL-P1 and Siemens EL-300C end of line resistor plates on all circuits.
