Lina's Market is a Calgary-based chain of Italian specialty markets. This page will cover the distribution centre, located at 4009 11 St SE, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The building was built in 1964, and was expanded in 1981. The fire alarm system was originally installed along with the 1981 expansion.

System Specifications (1981-present)

FACP

The building is protected by a Mircom FA-1000 conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located in the 4007 entrance vestibule. The system coding is temporal.
This panel replaced a Mirtone 7800 in 2022.

Notification Appliances

Most notification appliances are Mirtone 74306 vibrating bells (10" gong).
Some areas have Mircom BL-10B motor bells (10" gong) as deficiency replacements.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

Most pull stations are Mirtone 73201 conventional dual-action pull stations.
There are a mixture of Mircom MS-401, Notifier NFM-950B, Edwards 275-SPO and Notifier MPS-950B conventional single-action pull stations as deficiency replacements.

Automatic Detection Devices

None present. The building has total sprinkler coverage, and codes at the time of construction did not require automatic detection in sprinklered buildings.

EOLs

There are a mix of Mirtone 79064 and Mircom MP-300 end of line resistor plates on all circuits.
