The Glamorgan Community Centre is a community centre located at 4207 41 Ave SW, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The building was built in phases: 1969, 1981, 1986 and 1996. The fire alarm system is partially original.

System Specifications

FACP

The building is protected by an Edwards FireShield Plus FSP1004G conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located in the basement daycare furnace room. The system coding is temporal.
This panel replaced an Edwards 2280 in 2016.

Annunciators

There is an Edwards FSRSI annunciator paired with an Edwards FSRZI-A annunciator at the main entrance.

Notification Appliances

All notification appliances are Edwards "Genesis" G1R-HDVM horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, no marking, set to 15cd) mounted on Edwards G1TR trim plates.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

Most pull stations are Mircom MS-401 conventional single-action pull stations.
Some areas have Notifier NFM-950B conventional single-action pull stations (side-reset).
Some areas have Edwards 275-C111 conventional single-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are System Sensor C2W-BA conventional photoelectric smoke detectors in most areas.
There are a mix of Edwards 353-01 and System Sensor 5601A conventional 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors in most other areas, with System Sensor 5601A heat detectors present throughout the crawlspace.
There are FDD CF-200 conventional 200°F fixed-temperature heat detectors in some rooms.
There are Edwards 245A conventional 135°F fixed-temperature heat detectors in the kitchen.
There is an Edwards 284C conventional 194°F fixed-temperature heat detector in one furnace room.
The kitchen suppression system is connected to the fire alarm system.

EOLs

There are Edwards EOL-P1 end of line resistor plates on all circuits.
