Auburn Landing is an apartment complex owned and operated by Boardwalk. This page will cover Building 30, located at 30 Auburn Bay Street SE, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The building was built in 2015, and the fire alarm system is original.

System Specifications

FACP

The building is protected by a Mircom FX-2000 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the 2nd floor electrical room. The system runs Mircom's CLIP addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.
This panel is interconnected with the system in Building 20 via relay and monitor modules.

Annunciators

There is a Mircom RAX-LCD annunciator paired with a Mircom RAX-1048TZDS annunciator in the main entrance vestibule.
Both annunciators are mounted inside a Mircom BB-1002 enclosure.

Booster Panels

There are Mircom BPS-1100 11-amp booster power supplies in the 2nd floor electrical room, and the parkade elevator lobby.

Notification Appliances

Most common area notification appliances are Mircom "Select-A-Horn/Strobe" FHS-340R horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to electromechanical/15cd).
Some areas have Mircom FHS-340W horn/strobes (white, wall-mount, set to electromechanical/15cd).
All suite bedrooms have Mircom MH-S25WA silenceable mini-horns (white).

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

All pull stations are Mircom MS-401AD addressable single-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are Mircom MIX-2251APA addressable photoelectric smoke detectors in all corridors, at the top of each stairwell, at the top of the elevator shaft, and in most service and electrical rooms.
There are Mircom MIX-5251RAPA addressable 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors in all mechanical, garbage and recycling rooms.
Most detectors are mounted on System Sensor B210LPA bases; detectors at fire separations are mounted on System Sensor B224BIA isolator bases.
There is a System Sensor "InnovAir Flex" DNRA duct smoke detector housing equipped with a Mircom MIX-2251APA addressable photoelectric head on the main air handling unit.

Modules

There are Mircom MIX-M500MA addressable monitor modules monitoring signals from Building 20, and supervising the sprinkler system's tamper and flow switches.
There are Mircom MIX-M500RA addressable relay modules sending signals to Building 20.
There are System Sensor M500XA isolator modules on both SLCs.
There are Mircom SDM-240 sync modules synchronizing all strobes.

EOLs
