Carrington Apartments is an apartment complex consisting of two buildings. This page will cover Building 40, located at 40 Carrington Plaza NW, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The building was built in 2021, and the fire alarm system is original.

System Specifications

FACP

The building is protected by a Mircom FX-2000 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system runs Mircom's Advanced addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Booster Panels

There are Mircom INX-10A addressable 10-amp booster power supplies in the 1st and 3rd floor electrical rooms.

Notification Appliances

All common areas have Mircom FHS-400-RR horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd).
All suite bedrooms have a mix of Mircom MH-S25WA and System Sensor MHWZA silenceable mini-horns (white, Mircom devices are replacements).
