Oakridge Mall was a small shopping centre located at 2580 Southland Drive Southwest, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The mall's primary tenants were Calgary Co-op and Dollar Store. The mall opened in 1976, and was demolished the fire alarm system was fully replaced in the 2000s. Fire Alarmpedia staff were able to save the FACP, and it is now safe in the Fire Alarmpedia collection!

Former System Specifications

FACP

The building was protected by a Simplex 4010 addressable fire alarm system. The panel was located near the Co-op customer service desk. The system ran Simplex's IDNet addressable protocol, and the system coding was temporal.

Annunciators

There were Simplex 4606-9102 LCD annunciators at every mall corridor entrance.

Notification Appliances

Co-op

All notification appliances were Wheelock MB-G10-24 motor bells (10" gong) mounted on Wheelock RSSP-24MCW strobe plates (set to 15cd).

Main Mall

All notification appliances were Simplex 2901-9724 motor bells (10" gong) mounted on Wheelock RSSP-24MCW strobe plates (set to 15cd).

Pull Stations

All pull stations were Simplex 4099-9001 addressable single-action pull stations.
