Ron Ebbesen Arena is a twin arena complex located at 200 East Lake Crescent NE, in Airdrie, Alberta, Canada. The complex is owned and operated by The City of Airdrie. The Blue Arena is home to the HJHL's Airdrie Techmation Thunder, and the AEHL's Airdrie Bisons. The building was built in 1991, and underwent mechanical renovations in 2025. The fire alarm system was upgraded in the 2010s, with some devices replaced as part of the aforementioned renovations.

FACP

The building is protected by a Notifier NFS2-3030C addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system runs Notifier's FlashScan addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Notification Appliances

Most notification appliances are System Sensor "SpectrAlert Advance" P2RA horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd).
All washrooms have System Sensor "L-Series" SRLED-B remote strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd).
For outdoor notification, there is a System Sensor SRKA weatherproof remote strobe (red, wall-mount) outside the main entrance.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are Notifier FSP-851A addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout most areas.
There are Notifier FST-851RA addressable 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors in some areas.
All detectors are mounted on System Sensor B210LPA bases.

There is a Notifier FMM-1A addressable monitor module supervising the kitchen suppression system.
There are Notifier FRM-1A addressable relay modules serving various purposes.
There are Notifier ISO-XA isolator modules on all SLCs.

There are Notifier EOL-CR end of line resistor plates on all kitchen suppression and signal circuits.
