Markin MacPhail Centre

The Markin MacPhail Centre is an arena complex in SW Calgary. It has 4 sheets of ice, one of which is Olympic sized, with a capacity of 2500. It is located on the grounds of Winsport. It was built in 2012, and has its original system. The system is networked to the Frank King Day Lodge (WinSport).

System Specifications

FACP

The building is protected by a Siemens Firefinder XLS fire alarm control panel. It is original to the building, and is networked to the Frank King Day Lodge (WinSport). The system is voice evac, however the tones and message are unknown at this time.

Notification Appliances

The notification appliances are Siemens SE-MC-W-B (white, wall, multi-candela) speaker/strobes with bilingual lettering.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

All pull stations are Siemens HMS-2S bilingual 2-stage pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are Siemens FirePrint FP-11 smoke/heat combo detectors located throughout the building.
