Catholic Central High School

From FireAlarmPedia

Catholic Central High School is a high school in Lethbridge, AB. It teaches grades 10 through 12. The school was built in 1944, but the fire alarm system is not original.

System Specifications

FACP

The fire alarm panel is an EST3X. It was installed pretty recently, although it is unknown when it was actually installed. It most likely replaced an EST2 judging by the logos on the smoke detectors. The main panel is at the front entrance. There is an Edwards 2280 left over in front of the boys changerooms, although it is not in use anymore and has been powered off.

Notification Appliances

The notification appliances are mainly first generation EST "Integrity" 757-5A-T (red, 15cd) horn/strobes. They were installed around 1997 to 2001, as they are the pre-enhanced ones. There are also a few EST "PowerSaver Integrity" 757H-15PS (red, 15cd) horn/strobes, unknown when they were put in.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

The pull stations are mainly Edwards 270-SPO pull-stations. They are from the 1990s, likely when the 2280 was in service. A few replacement pull stations are 2000s EST SIGA-270 addressable pull stations, from the previous system.

Automatic Detection Devices

All of the smoke detectors are EST SIGA-PS addressable photoelectric smoke detectors.
