Safeway (Fairway Plaza)

From FireAlarmPedia
Revision as of 17:34, 25 March 2021 by TwentyThree33 (talk | contribs) (Chase, you fucked up the spelling.)

Safeway is a chain of grocery stores. This particular location is in Southern Lethbridge, AB. It is currently unknown when the store was built, but the pull stations suggest the 1980s.

System Specifications

FACP

The fire alarm panel is an EST 6632. It is a pre-1997 model, so was installed around that time. The panel is located right at the entrance, but is not original.

Notification Appliances

The notification appliances are all EST "Genesis" G1R-HDVM (red, wall, no FIRE) horn/strobes. They replaced some older Edwards notification appliances, but it is unknown what they were. The horn/strobes were likely installed in the 2000s-2010s.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

The pull stations are mostly the potentially original 2nd generation Edwards 270-GAO (classic shield, no FIRE ALARM) two-stage pull stations despite the system being single stage. There are also a few Edwards 270-SPO pull stations, which are also 2nd generation.

Automatic Detection Devices

None noticed.
