Ski Tip Lodge is a 4-story apartment building in Panorama Mountain Resort, BC. It was built in 1997, and has the original fire alarm system. The lodge also has guest services on the main floor.

System Specifications

FACP

The fire alarm panel is a Notifier, either an AFP-400 or an AFP1010, judging by the annunciator. The panel itself is original, but not visible as it is probably in an electrical room.

Annunciators

As mentioned above, there is a Notifier LCD-80 at the main entrance.

Notification Appliances

The main notification appliances are Notifier KMS-10-24VDC motor bells. The units have Wheelock MIZ-24-W mini-horns, and some also have Wheelock LS1M-24 remote strobes beside the mini-horns. On the main floor, by the stairwell to go down to the basement where the annunciator is, there is an Edwards 439D-10AWC vibrating bell. Why it is there is unknown, but all of these notification appliances are original.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

The pull stations are all Notifier NFM-950B pull stations, which are original.

Automatic Detection Devices

None noticed.
