Camp Chief Hector YMCA is a camp and outdoor education branch in Exshaw, AB. This page covers the Bowfort Lodge, which is the dining hall and meeting space. It was built in 1974, but the fire alarm system is not original. However, some bells are original.

System Specifications

FACP

The fire alarm panel is a Notifier CFP-2401B, installed somewhere in the late 1990s-early 2000s. It most likely replaced an Edwards 1526 or 1527, judging by the panel only having one zone. It is located in the front entrance, inside a cabinet that says "Emergency Response Cabinet".

Notification Appliances

The notification appliances are Edwards "Durabel" 6100D 6 inch vibrating bells from all generations, some original from the 1964 generation, to the 1990s. Outside the entrance, there is an Edwards "Durabel" 6100D 10 inch vibrating bell.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

The pull stations are mainly the original first generation Edwards 270-SPO. One was replaced with a Notifier MPS-950B.

Automatic Detection Devices

None noticed.
