Connaught School is an elementary (K-6) school in Beltline, near Downtown Calgary (SW). It is owned by the Calgary Board of Education, and was built in 1911, and then it was majorly renovated in early 2008. The fire alarm system is from that renovation. The school is 4 stories tall.
System Specifications
FACP
The fire alarm control panel is an EST QuickStart QS4. It is from 2008 when the school was renovated. The annunciator is at the front entrance, however the panel itself isn't visible. When the system goes into alarm, all strobes (indoor and outdoor) are synchronized, and all horns do code-3.
Notification Appliances
All of the notification appliances are EST "Integrity" 757-5A-T horn/strobes. They are mounted on both the wall and ceiling, while all have the standard wall "FIRE" lenses. Outside the entrance, there is an EST "Integrity" 757-7A-T horn/strobe. These horn/strobes were installed in the 2008 renovation.

All of the pull stations are EST SIGA-270 addressable pull stations, from the 2008 renovation.
Automatic Detection Devices
There are EST SIGA-PS addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout.

FACP
The previous fire alarm panel was a Simplex 4002 conventional fire alarm system from 1992. The panel had 12 zones. The system was in use until 2008.
Notification Appliances
The notification appliances were most likely Simplex 2901-9720 motor bells or 2901-9722 motor bells.
