‘’’’Shoppers Drug Mart’’’’ is a chain of pharmacies across Canada. They are owned and operated by Loblaws, who is also the parent company of Superstore. This particular store is located in the Shawnessy shopping area of Southwest Calgary, and was built in 1999. The system is mostly original, with only the panel and one pull station being replacements. The system is serviced by PDS Fire Protection.

The store is protected by a Mircom FA-1025T conventional fire alarm system. The panel was installed on July 29, 2019, and replaced an Edwards 6604. The system does continuous in alarm.
Notification Appliances
All notification appliances are Edwards 439D-10AWC vibrating bells (10” gong) on Edwards 403-5A-R “Integrity” strobe plates (15cd).
Initiating Devices
Pull Stations
Most pull stations are Edwards 270-SPO conventional single-action “teardrop” pull stations. The pull station by the post office was replaced with a Mircom MS-401 in 2019.
